關於秋刀魚藝術中心

秋刀魚藝術中心成立於 2003 年，座落於台北大內藝術特區的中心位置。秉持著推廣當代藝術為目標，每年在畫廊策劃8-10檔展覽，並積極以專業策展型態參與國際藝博會。目前經紀代理台灣與中國多位當代藝術家。更於2013、2014、2016三年榮獲英國在線媒體『The Culture Trip』選為台北十大最佳當代畫廊。代理藝術家的作品亦廣為美術館典藏。秋刀魚藝術中心堅守誠信與專業的原則，針對藏家的個別需求提供藝術品信息與服務，與藏家、藝術家建立共生共榮的關系。期盼透過藝術，展現生命的豐富視野，與文化的傳承。

早在1997年，美國心理學會研究顯示，人類不能選擇作為同性戀或異性戀，而人類的性取向不是能夠由意志改變的有意識的選擇。但現實生活中一些同性戀者或雙性戀者可能會試圖通過療法改變自己的性取向，有時這是受到家庭成員或社會觀感施加的壓力所致。

縱使近代各項研究均顯示同性戀不是一種疾病，因此也沒有必要進行治療，那些試圖尋找轉變療法的人通常是因為社會的偏見所造成的內在同性戀恐懼癥所致，或是自身與社會體的不同？

About Fish Art Center
Fish Art Center first established in 2003 and is located in the center of the Taipei Art District. Their goal was to promote contemporary art, in which they have 8 to 10 exhibitions each year and participate in several international art exhibitions with a professional and active spirit. Currently, they are the agent of several contemporary artists from both Taiwan and China. In 2013, 2014, and 2016, they have been chosen in the top ten contemporary galleries in Taipei by the England travel media “The Culture Trip”. The Fish Art Center adheres to the principles of integrity and professionalism, as thus to build up a long-term and trust relationship with their artists and collectors. They work in the contemporary art field, growing their talented artists with foresight, and connect with the international art market with a grand vision.

The Highlights from Fish Art Center
In 1977, research from the American Psychological Association (APA) shows that humans are unable to choose to be homosexual or heterosexual and that they cannot forcefully change their sexual preferences just because they want to. In reality, homosexuals and bisexuals try to modify their sexuality with the help of medical usages. The negativity and pressure from society or family members are often the reasons why they want to change. People still seek medical help although homosexuality is proven to be healthy and does not have to be treated. Is it because of the homophobic preconceptions that had caused their inner fear or is it because of the difference in their body from the first place that had caused them to change?
